What is CEI?
CEI is a strong volunteer network of students, educators, and alumni in 22 national branches and over 40 actively engaged countries providing over 25,000 hours of service every year in caring for the environment.  CEI has been improving the quality of our environment through youth doing life-changing work since 1987.

Why Sponsor CEI?
We have no paid staff – only dedicated volunteers who pay all of their own expenses to prepare for and attend our annual conferences and serve the needs of the organization.  We need and are requesting public donations and sponsorship support to sustain and grow our organization by sponsoring first-time, high needs students and their teachers to join in the CEI family..

How You Can Help
Your individual or organization’s support would be sincerely appreciated. In addition to your contribution to our not-for-profit, non-governmental corporation, we also seek your input on how we can continue to connect our youth to their future and stoke their passion for our environment that could lead to a potential career in assisting businesses and organizations work to sustain their role in caring for the environment.

CEI has developed a strong network of students, educators and alumni in 22 national branches, over 40 actively engaged countries, and over 25,000 hours of service every year in caring for our environment. However, our organization has never had paid staff – only dedicated volunteers who pay all of their own expenses to attend our annual conferences and serve the needs of the organization.

After over 30 years of depending solely on our volunteers and a small percentage of annual delegate fees, we are now requesting public donation and sponsorship support to sustain and grow our life-changing work. 

Currently, the CEI Board supports a few qualified alumni youth every year to travel to new conferences where they assist the host with event activities.  The board also has sponsored one youth and one educator from an under represented country to attend an upcoming conference after they have demonstrated their need, and attended and presented their project work. We need to be able to expand these types of sponsorships that serve to ignite youth and their communities.

Additionally, each annual host must obtain sponsors to offset the expense of a week-long conference because our bylaws have set a ceiling to maintain affordable conference fees.

Your individual or organization’s support would be sincerely appreciated.
